Each commercial non-residential user shall be charged in accordance with Metro Wastewater Reclamation District’s Rules and Regulations specifically Section 4.4, Table 4-1. The average daily winter flow shall be divided by 148 gallons per day in order to determine the number of Single Family Equivalents. The per SFE Charge of $42.18 per month per Single Family Equivalent shall be multiplied by the number of Single Family Equivalents, as calculated above, in order to determine the appropriate monthly charge.
*With the approval of the District Manager, the connector may submit annual water use or non-winter water use information in lieu of winter water use. Where water usage information is not available, or does not appropriately represent water discharged to the sewer, fixture unit information from Section 4.4, Table 4-2 of the Metro Wastewater District’s Rules and Regulations must be submitted. Where the nature of the business is seasonal or the direct connector can show that the flow to the sewer is significantly different from the water use, the District Manager may specify an alternative method of estimating flow.
